Your position of Royalty in His Kingdom.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things which you know not.

I am always encouraged by the above words, when I remember the promise that our Lord gave us as Christians. Have you ever wondered your position in Christ as a believer? Have you ever thought of these? I’ve got a few lessons to share with you.Join me in a this published teet-a-tete.

  •   In Romans 8:14-15 ‘because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the Spirit that makes you slave again to fear, but you received the spirit of Sonship, and by Him we cry Abba Father.’

The above verse speaks it all. Imagine being called the Son of the Most High God. It is from  Him that  all the other kings reign, think of these, being associated with the state’s royal family. A son to the President…ok or maybe a daughter in law or a son in law to the president. That raises you status quo. Here Jesus Christ gives you a chance to be a co-heir with Him in heaven, imagine! If you realize that, you will take yourself in a noble way as the son of God.
  •    In 2 Timothy 2:20-21 ‘In a large house there are many vessels not only made of gold and silver but also made of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the master’.

Not to add much the verse is self-explicit, you get to see where the Lord will places you once you cleanse yourself and  accept to be used of Him. Let’s identify ourselves and the roles we can play for the Master. Thus we will realize the position of royalty given to us by Him.

Peter had realized his position of royalty in Jesus Christ, thus he was the first and the last disciple to walk on water like Christ (Mathew 14:22-33). If you get to know how big you are in Christ, you won’t relent when someone asks you to stop while pursing your dreams.
I once heard;
If you become casual in your dreams, you will end being a casualty’-Les Brown.
Then with the confidence derived from the scriptures, I believe you are capable of doing great things, soaring great heights and even dreaming big.
The only secret in identifying your position of Royalty in Christ Kingdom is to put your faith on board, then be prayerful  as well as you’ve got  inoculate yourself against the pessimism in life.
We serve a great King.
Shalom.

He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 3:14

Have you ever found yourself crying unto God over situations which seems difficult to navigate .I always find myself in such, but one thing I have realized, our God is ever faithful. As its stated in Numbers 23:19 our God is not a man to lie. He fulfills everything to the letter.
Tonight I want to encourage that youth who feels low over his/her life, due to the past mistakes, addictions or even heartbreaks. Kindly don’t develop delusions over your life, have the faith, pray unto the Father. For I tell you that he who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
Avoid the litany of grouses in your life, let Christ handle your it. Be calm and focused, let the King of kings handle your issues, release them all unto Him. A wise man once said; ”At times you can’t know how much you need God’s help until you are opposed”. Thus he knew you need Christ to stand unopposed in every situation. Thus the question begs, how many times have you ever included Christ before your endeavors?

Let me get to bed now, lest the mosquitoes call for a banquet :)
Shalom.

Why are you Single?

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:-Ecclesiastes 3:1

[This post was borrowed and shared from ‘This Best Friend I never Had’ by Ducie Nyambu]
Singleness. The gift no one wants. The season no one wants to be granted, and the place that feels like you've discovered a deeper level of alone.
This must be a mistake. He did say, “It is not good for man to be alone,” right? So, why hasn't He fixed this problem? Why does He let this error persist when there’s someone here ready and willing to solve it?
Is it possible that there’s been no mistake made? Is it possible that there’s intent behind your single status? Yes.
Instead of constantly trying to get out, maybe we should consider why we’re in. Instead of loathing maybe we should be celebrating. Instead of frantically questioning maybe we should peacefully be trusting.
What is the proper response to singleness? Here are a few thoughts.
I would argue that signing up for e Harmony or church hopping to find the one with the most available young people isn't the answer. I’m all for dating and getting yourself around other singles, but I have to believe there’s more intent behind this season than teaching you the right places to find a date.
Instead of preoccupation with finding the man or woman you want to marry, use this season to become the man or woman that God wants you to be. We’re very quick to find fault in God and others, but rarely willing to consider how we might need to grow. A humble heart will see singleness as a time to draw near to the Lord and reflect on how you need to change to become more like Him. As you follow Jesus and ask Him to transform your heart, you are going to begin to attract the right kind of man or woman.
God is in the business of protecting His children and leading us into the place of greatest joy. This means He knows what you need and when you need it. There is intent, purpose, and a reason behind this period in your life.
Sin
Maybe there’s sin that needs to be dealt with and He’s preventing you from inviting someone else into your mess. Two sinners don’t fix each other’s problems. God uses marriage and relationships for our sanctification, but He also uses singleness to spare us pain, consequence and to keep us from pulling others down. This is cause for gratitude and gratefulness, not anger and bitterness. He’s protecting all His children because He loves them.
Serve
God may need you to serve in such a way right now, where all your energy, time and attention need to be devoted to what He’s calling you into. One of my high school youth leaders didn't get married until he was 32. While he was single he gave countless hours serving our youth group for eight years. Many of the leaders that I do college ministry with today we’re impacted by his dedication that would not have been possible if he were married and starting a family. God allows singleness because this life is not about you but about His Kingdom and His purposes being accomplished. This is cause for thankfulness and joy, that our Father would invite us into His work and want us to be a part of what He’s doing.
Slow
Perhaps God just wants you to wait patiently and trust Him.
Many of us say we want Jesus to be King, but if we’re honest, it’s only true as long as he runs things the way we would do it. The second he veers from our plan we fight to take the reins back.
God knows more than you do. His plan is perfect, His timing without flaw. The ultimate question is do you desire God’s will over your own? Will you trust Him? This season might be the time to slow down, stop resisting and be thankful that God is making you into the man or the woman that He needs you to be for His purposes and for His glory.
Here are some questions to ask yourself in seasons of singleness?
1) Am I looking to get out before looking to understand why God might have me here and what he wants me to learn?
2) Are all my thoughts toward singleness bitter and resentful? What are the blessings and opportunities I am afforded during this season?
3) Do I truly believe that I have worth and value as an individual created in the image of God?
4) Am I using my extra time to contribute to the Kingdom or to question God and complain?
5) Am I banking on a relationship to fix the sin issues in my life, or am I desiring the Holy Spirit to help sanctify me now?
--------------------
Yes,i am single,but for a reason.
Cheers.

You are God Alone.

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’- Jeremiah 33:3

He is the Creator of Heaven and earth. He created you with a definite purpose in life, that’s why the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I Know the Plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you plans to give you  hope and  future’.
I write all these with the hope that one day joy and peace will be my duo friends. Hitherto am happy because I have a gift of breath, freely given unto me.Thus I may be able to see all this happening to my life. I pray not for the Lord to remove the challenges I have, but I will ask Him to give me the courage and wisdom to win over them. I will not lower my level to suit the world; rather I will press on to the goal and win this race for the price set for me. I pray that the Lord may give me the serenity to accept all that life brings J
I have come to learn that the Lord answers in 3 ways; He says yes and gives you what you want, says no wait son, to give you something better or says No son, to give you the best. I believe He has conferred me with an answer among the 3 choices highlighted.
I wish to be inebriated of the Holy Spirit, to win over all compromises the world applauds and have the ability to say No to all forms of ungodliness (Titus 2:11), for I have seen it, there is no joy in the things of the world. They are all short lived.
Thus I say, with or without challenges, He remains to be God. For He is God Alone.

Goodnight Brethren.

‘I Love You’-Delicate,handle with Care.[re-blog]

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. -1 John 4:8

[I have re-blogged this post due to public demand :)]

As I write this, am in the process of overcoming the paradox in my life. I have been crashed and tried by the 3 magic words as they say “I Love You”.
Love is created by God. We can’t force love, love grows, it’s nurtured and seasoned with time by God. For God is Love.
The words, ‘I Love you’ are neither a jester nor a mean feat. You can have anyone you ever wish to have, only if you will be able to keep her/him.I mean if you can treasure each other with actions, not words. Many have the delusion that men are meant to show love to ladies, whom on the other end reciprocate. No,I believe that love is a two way gesture. I will always treasure you if you treasure me.I believe men on my blog will support me on this. Also I do give a room for correction.
As I pen off, this is not an ode to anyone. Just a lesson that I feel to pass to any chivalrous man out there.God created love. Don’t be like me before, don’t be desperate for love, it will follow you, just as your shadow does. Don’t misuse the 3 magic words, ‘I Love You’. Then remember your purpose in life, get cosy with anyone. More so never compromise to please anyone.
Now to my future girl, the one whom I always pray and dream of…for sure I dreamt of you yester night; when I will come for an overture, don’t play me, I am a man made of flesh, not wood. By doing so, the words ‘I Love you’ will be meaningful in my life. To those in a relationship remember that Love is not a fight but something worth fighting for.
For now I will say as i said a while ago;’ Now i will be silent,I will let the one who creates the words speak. He made the door,He made the lock,He also made the Key.

Good night brethrens.
[I guess i am now out of the paradox...but on hold :)]

Patience - A Trait to Treasure.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

What is Patience? It is one of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. It is thus a great trait to have as a youth for it holds much in store for us.
Want to know-> why should a youth have patience?

  • ·         Necessary for self-control
Many are the compromising situations that a youth face, which without patience we get a stray. Many of us are still hold unto strong relationships, others have achieved their goals all through patience. Even the bible states in Prov 16:32
Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city’.

  • ·         Necessary for the harvest.
Christ is coming soon for a clean and Holy Church, prepare ye the Way.Let us hold unto our faith and wait upon Christ. In all these I guarantee you that you require Patience. James 5:7-8
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.’

  • ·         Necessary for receiving the promises.
The Lord’s promises are true .He is not a man to lie (Numbers23:19).Many of us are much expecting from God, some of us for a good job, others for a good wife ,others for Education and some like me all the above. So we need to have patience in waiting. The bible says Abraham waited patiently and God granted him his prayer. Hebrews 6:15

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.’

  • ·         Live lives worth our calling
I do believe each one of us has a calling, a defined call that the Lord has in store for him/her. You will never know your calling unless you hope unto the Lord. Look Ephesians 4:1-3

‘1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.’

My Prayer tonight even as I pen-off is that we may ask  the Holy Spirit to grow patience in us. Even in this digital generation.

Shalom.

Faith in Jesus Christ

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Brethrens its long since we had a conversation,it all because of my hustles,as a Christian Youth.
Tonight am grateful to God for this far.He alone is my Ebenezer.

Lets talk about Faith...What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 define it clearly as having hope and expectation of things not even seen.Faith is the only key concept in our Christian walk for the bible says that without faith it's impossible to please God(Hebrews11:6).Lets hang unto God and cling on our faith upon Him.

Many youths have turned away from their faith on Christ, now that they are scholars of philosophy in higher Institutions of learning.Allow me to remind you that the bible says "Only a fool says that there is no God..."(Psalms 14:1) ,it continues to say "Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding..."(Prov 3:5).Only God can change you and control your life.He alone can heal your diseases, can restore your broken relationships, can make you excel academically...the list is endless!.All He needs from you is that faith,as little  as the mustard seed, and nothing will be impossible for you.(Matthew 17:20).

I would wish to expand my post, but unfortunately i have to pen off.I leave you with Psalms 34:8 "Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man you put his trust in Him!".Then you will realize that Jesus is not only a better option but the ONLY option.

Shalom.
